    This is my map Raze, a shotgun-grenade arena with rockets and rifles hidden up above as powerweapons. The included files are: the base download, a simple .png, and a waypoint package for bots. All you have to do is take these 3 files and throw them into packages>base.

  • My first completed map, Minotaurus2. This is a maze like map set deep underground. There are both CQC and sniping elements, and a few secrets/hidden areas. Don't forget to do calclight! (by the way, /calclight q will save the lightmaps if you do /savemap afterwards.)

  • Teaser for my upcoming map, map4. Yes, it needs a better name, and I am open to suggestions.
    It is an expansive map set on a cold moon of a planet. The base itself is a science outpost/ cargo depot. As seen in the picture, some of the airtight tunnels have taken damage from meteorites.
    Completed rooms consist of many storage areas, two large garages, an observatory, train network, several command and control areas, and a reactor room.

  • I know some of you don't care for edit maps, but for those who do, here are a few pictures showing my progress on "map4" (please suggest name ideas, it doesn't have to be too descriptive).

  • hey not bad at all. join some co-op edit servers when your wifi is working :P plenty (well some) of friendly mappers who can help/critique your maps.



  • @Ao1-Pointblank Not to go off topic here, but even the pictures are amazing (i.e. angles and stuffs).
    Maybe, if inexor is ever realized, and if you keep working hard on your mapping skills, the sauergods can add your maps to the mix.



  • @Fritz_Fokker Well, I'm not sure about what other players will think, bit I need to work on the flow and balance of my maps. Sometimes, they get a bit confusing. Plus, I'm a bit worried they might have bad fps optimization. But thanks very much for the support!

    @h8 can you give me list of servers you work? Im not interested personal in creating maps, but i know small number of small persons who know basic stuff and play with editing maps instead of play game.

    These screen shots aren't to pretty because I'm trying to show what needs to be completed on the map.

    1. Large amounts of terrain (bumpiness to make it seem more natural) needs to be added, as well as borders for the map. The borders will be large walls/dams or skyscrapers. The dome-topped building is completely new. It's one of my favorite structures so far, but I don't want to give too many spoilers.
    2. Just an overview of a portion of the facility.
    3. A very powerful jumppad at the top of the new building - so powerful it needed vscroll and fancy particles just to let players know what they are about to step on is very fast.
      That's all for now, progress is moving well.

    The map has been given the name "Delphi" after the site of an ancient Greek oracle/prophet.

    1: I have started placing signs on some of the major structures in the facility.

    2: Still tons of texturing and detail needed over here... These are some very big skyscraper, serving as barriers for the map edges as planned.
