I'll try to keep it short to not bore you.
I was playing in Rigatoni with name "BlackGuy". Auth "Tuta" force-renamed me to "ArabGuy".
When I asked for clarification he pointed me to "the rules" but refused to elaborate further.
(I couldn't find the rules anywhere...).
When I tried to clarify the issue with Tuta all he did was threaten to mute me. In fact other random players were more helpful then him/her.
(I'll admit I was a bit verbose in chat trying to get an explanation, but definitely not insulting or "screaming" or whatever, no namecalling, ...).
I tried point out to Tuta that "Black" isn't insulting or racist in any way... But yet again no response except "shut up or I'll mute you" - (paraphrased).
So, I'm looking for clarification on 2 things:
Is there a rule against racial identification of any kind, even if non-insulting?
Where can I find these "rules"?
Why was I renamed from "BlackGuy" to "ArabGuy"? That's just plain racist! Because all non-white people are the same? Because "Black" is somehow not tolerable, but "Arab" is?
I mean what? I'm black, not arab, and Tuta felt the nessecity to "fix" my identity to something more appropriate?
Everyone makes mistakes but in stead of explaining why he did what he did (and/or apologise) he just threatened to mute me. Why does he even have auth if he can't explain his position and what rules is he enforcing?
Edit: I don't have a record of what happened. I tried getting the demo but the server doesn't record any. By that time it was too late to take screenshots. You can find it in the logs I guess if you want proof of what happened or of the fact that I was always respectful in chat.
